Grace has always had a passion for animals. She was born into a family with two border collies, and her first border collie "Maggie" was her best friend from birth until 8 years old. Grace has owned several other breeds including her 9 year old Australian Shepherd "Finley" who got her into dog sports such as agility, and competition obedience with the AKC, however she always found herself wanting a border collie again. When she turned 18 she found a mentor, and began showing dogs in conformation. Shortly after that she got her first purebred border collie of her own named "Dexter." His full call name was "Poindexter" and that’s how Poindexter Border Collies was born. Grace's main goal with her border collies is to share this special breed with others, and create dogs that excel in the conformation ring, as well as herding and other sports. Grace and her border collies are located on the Central Coast of California.
